BEEN GONE FOREVER I HAD A BABY THO

So I have been gone a long time… I didn’t want to focus unhealthily on weight or my body while I was pregnant to prevent disordered habits.

Been gone for a while because…..

I found out I’m pregnant! I’m 7 weeks today:) I’m so excited. It was a good time after being married two years. Baby is due in March:)
This is going to be an interesting shift with my health focus. Right now I’m seriously just eating whatever and whenever I need to in order to stave off HORRIBLE nausea. I don’t feel like myself— all I can eat is bread and potatoes and cheese lol. Really bad, but I’m not beating myself up. I have a little bean sized creature inside me wreaking havoc on my system!

This has recently become my life motto. I find that comparing myself and my life to other people is dangerous for my self esteem. Sometimes it does me some good because it makes me appreciate what I am and what I have, but more often than not it leaves me feeling inadequate and a whole bunch of things I’m most probably not.

Reducing Calories

Guys, I’ve tried to reset my metabolism by eating upwards of 1700 calories every day. I have gained around 3-5 lbs (it fluctuates). I think that since I’ve lost so much weight, my caloric needs are just different. I know that some people don’t have this problem, but I’ve found that eating more just isn’t cutting it for me. 

I’m only reducing a little bit: I am trying out 1400-1600 calories a day. Hopefully I’ll have some good news to report soon!
